Tarremah Growers
A quick note from the Tarremah Growers to say thank you to all those who bought our plants at the School Fair – without you, we wouldn’t be the outrageous financial success that we are(!).
And thank you also to all those who helped with growing over the past year and selling plants at the Fair – it really is a team effort.

Spring Fair Thank You
What a wonderful Spring Fair. Every thing shone – from the beautiful welcome of the ‘Arch of Flowers’ to the barely visible washing up team. It was great. AND it was hot, unseasonably so. It must have been the collective praying for good weather, all coming together to produce 31Cº. Many guests and parents came and enjoyed the day –feasting their eyes and ears and bellies on the Tarremah treats.
Thank you so much to all who contributed- everything makes a difference, big and small. The Parents and Friends Association wish to express our gratitude to all but especially the Class Parents and Activity organisers who went beyond the ‘norm’ to bring you their best. Thanks to their partners and children for supporting them to get it done. The quality of the activities, crafts, foods, music was tangible. The senses were nurtured. This is including the ‘sense of self’, who we are, as a community shone forth as we were part of a whole for a common goal.
At the fair celebration on Wednesday night, post fair day, we heard 12 different people (key players in the fair organisation) share their experience of their participation in our Spring Fair. Many were still tired from all the hard work, but still delighted in their achievements. We heard stories of delighted children and proud grandparents; We heard stories of gratitude for the Waldorf education, and gratitude for being part of something unique and meaningful. New relationships have been formed out of working together and we all know each other and ourselves a little better.
Thanks also to the generous teachers and other staff who contributed to making the fair day Grand. Funds raised this year were approximately $22,000. Great effort, one and all.
