With the kind assistance of Julie in the library we are setting up a permanent filing cabinet of P&F information. So, if you have an activity or class manual – for a camp or Spring fair activity for example, please check and update details and bring them into the office for collection.

Our AGM was held on 28th March, thank you to our outgoing Treasurer, Bruce House, for officiating our meeting. It was wonderful to have several new committee members. The P&F committee for 2012 is Rachel Abberton; Chairperson, Jen O’Bryan; Secretary, Karin Easton; Treasurer, Amanda Thompson; Public Officer. Committee members: Sharee McCammon, Viola Hemm, Loretta Ryan and new members: Simone McKay, Tahnia Free and Brenda Goddard. Thanks to all and looking forward to a productive year working with one another.

In my new role as P&F Chair I have been pondering the meaning of that elusive term community. I believe that it is worth striving for, the community of caring people who join together and build something special. The P&F is here to help support our school community. I would love to hear how we can do this…ideas and suggestions welcome.

Yes, it’s true….our little plant propagation group has swung back into action. Our membership is expanding and we hope to be able to make a huge range of garden delights available later in the year. You are all welcome to join our gatherings in various gardens over coming months – no experience necessary. We are not always able to give advance notice in the Tarremah Times, so if you would like to know what we are up to, please email themacs@skymesh.com.au and we’ll add you to our email list (or call Sharee 6266 3598).
