About the school

After several years in the planning, a committed group of parents and teachers worked to open Tarremah School in 1988. For the first 4 years the school was situated in a house in Warneford Street, South Hobart. The need to expand resulted in  Tarremah moving to its current site in 1992.

Tarremah now offers an educational programme from early childhood, including playgroup, to high school. We have a teaching staff of 20 full and part time teachers and 262 students from Kinder to Year 10.
